Frequently asked questions

Does Lamnota really work without internet?
Yes. All recording, checkout, and reports work offline — no internet for daily use. Devices stay in sync over the same local network, without your data ever leaving your devices. A connection is only needed occasionally to confirm your subscription, with an offline grace period if you're disconnected.
Where is my data stored?
On your own devices. The device running the server keeps the shop database locally and shares it only with devices you allow on the same local network. Your data never leaves your own devices; backups are files you keep yourself.
How do I connect multiple cashiers?
Run the server on one phone, then other devices on the same local network discover it automatically — or scan the QR from the Server Panel. Each cashier signs in with their own account.
What happens if I forget my PIN?
The owner PIN can be reset with the recovery code shown once when the account is created. A cashier who forgets their PIN can be reset by the owner from the Server Panel.
